Getting Started

Registering with FIFA360

To register with FIFA360 you will need to create an account with us in the forum. When creating an account you will be asked for a couple of things:

Your username must match your Xbox Live gamertag exactly. So if your gamertag appears as JoHnSmItH1980, your username would be JoHnSmItH1980 and not John Smith 1980.

You must provide a valid e-mail address, this is very important in order to complete your registration. Once you create your account you will be e-mailed with a password. After you log in for the first time you can then change your password to something that you will remember.

As part of our terms and conditions we require that you do not keep your Xbox Live friends list private. This is a security issue and no jobs will be given out to members who withhold their information.

Applying for Jobs

A list of available manager posts can be viewed on the main site (View Vacancies).

Here at FIFA360, we try and make it as realistic as possible. So if you see a vacancy that you would like to apply for, you would need to create a FIFA360 CV. Your CV should include things like your achievements on fifa, your history on FIFA360 as well as other 1v1 leagues.

Your application will take you a long way in getting a job. Writing something "Can I have this job please" will not be considered.

Like in real life though, an unknown manager is unlikely to get the Manchester Utd or Barcelona job if he applys, so if your new to the site you should be looking to take over teams such as Tenerife or Doncaster Rovers, then you can build up your reputation and apply for the higher profile jobs!

Remember if you apply for numerous available jobs your application maybe under-mined due to desperation and lack of loyalty to your own team. The consequences of applying for each and every vacancy may result in your current club terminating your current contract. Showing a significant degree of club loyalty will take you a long way when you do wish to apply for that 'dream job'.

Expectations

Every club has there own expectation level.

For example a team like Chelsea would be 'Title Challengers'. This means if the Chelsea manager doesn't challenge for the title, and after over half a season they are sitting in 12th posistion, he/she could be sacked. This means the Chelsea job would be available.

On the same note the Malaga manager who's expectation is to Avoid Relegation, is mid table after half the season. He/She would be over acheiving and doing really well.

Everyone can then apply for the Chelsea job once the manger has been sacked, but the Malaga manager would have a great chance of getting the job if he/she applied with a good application.

Abusive Language and Harassment

We will NOT tolerate members using abusive language of any sort, whether it be on the forum or chatbox.

We will NOT tolerate harassment of any of our members.

Sub-Zero Tolerance Policy

Here at FIFA360 we now operate on a "sub-zero" tolerance policy. Basically, if you step out of line you are out the door.

We have set up this website to be fun and fair enjoyable for our members.

If you class yourself as a bit of a "keyboard warrior" then this is not the place for you.

*WE WILL NOT TOLERATE CHEATING AND ABUSIVE LANGUAGE IN ANY FORM*

Playing a Match

Match Day Settings

Proposing Match Results

To propose a match result firstly you should go to the "Manager" link in the forum. Next you click the League/Cup fixtures depending on which competition you have just played. Here you will find a list of your fixtures. Simply click the "Submit Result" box on the relevant fixture. Now you will have a list of drop downs.

You should propose the following match stats:

Once you've hit submit you will be asked for:

Connections, Disconnections & Quitting

If you connect with a player you have until 5mins to pause and disconect if you feel the lag is that bad. If any goals are scored after 5mins the goal(s) will stand. If a player disconnects after 5mins both players need to reconnect and play the remaining minutes with the score carried over.

If your game is disconnected you must create a new game with the scores carried over at the time of disconnection.

You will then play the remaining minutes of the game. Add 3mins extra on for stoppage time.

If a player quits from the game before the 90mins please PM (private message) your League Moderator. By quitting on a game when 3, 4 or 5-0 down your team will be fined, there will be a 3 strike policy for this :

Now this is not to be confused with disconnections, we all have a disconnection every once and a while when making subs etc. If this happens simply re-connect with your opponent and play the remaining minutes. We have Suspentions and Man of the Match (MOTM) where members need to note bookings, red cards and MOTM. By quitting the game you're not following the rules. This site is for gamers who finish all games and never quit (even if it is the 90th minute).

Match Fixing, Game Glitches & Boosting

If you are caught match fixing your team will be deducted points.

If you are caught match fixing you will be issued with a warning.

If you are caught using any known or even unkown game glitches, such as LB + X or the throw in glitch, then you will be issued with a warning.

If you are caught or suspected of boosting player stats you will be banned - NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

Managerial Features

Salaries

Every player on your team has a salary to pay. The amount you pay for each player depends on his overall rating. The higher the player's rating, the higher his wages will be.

After every game you play, your squads wages will be deducted from your teams bank balance. If at any time your bank balances goes to zero, you will be sacked.

So be careful when your spending your money.

Injuries

Throughout the season numerous players within you squad may get injured. Injuries are completely random and can vary from 1-26 games. It is important that you check you squad/roster on a regular basis as playing with an injured player can have serious consequences for your team and/or bank balance (check the sidebar on the homepage for a list of all the injured players and the duration of their injury).

Suspentions

If a player receives two yellow cards throughout the season he will be banned for 1 game. If a player is sent off in a game he will be banned for 2 games. If a player receives 1 yellow card although not banned you will notice he has a card on the squad page. Again playing an suspended player can have serious consiquenses for your team and/or bank balance (check the sidebar on the homepage for a list of all the suspended players and the duration of their ban).

Squad Size

At FIFA360 each squad must have at least 17 outfeild players and 2 goalkeepers, this doesnt include loans so if your planning in loaning out 2 players make sure you have 21 players in your squad. If when the window closes you have 17 players or less you will be fined or even worse, the board may sack you for bad management.

Transfers and Loans

Transfers

Here at FIFA360 you are not just in charge of team selection you can actually buy and sell players. You can buy and sell players on the forum.

Only players from the following Leagues are available for purchase:

ALL TRANSFERS MUST BE APROVED BY ADMIN.

Once you've agreed on a deal for a player you can manually add that player into your team. The other manager must delete the player from his roster. Then next game you play he will be available for selection.

Please note a player may only move once per transfer window. If you buy a player you may loan him out in the same window but it is forbidden to re-sell the player in the same window

Example:

When you have signed a player, and the transfer has been approved by an Admin, you will ned to bring that player into your squad on FIFA.

Do this by using "Edit Teams---> Transfers---> Club Transfers" on FIFA10.

When you sell a player, you use the same procedure "Manage Teams---> Transfers---> Club Transfers". We recommend that you put that player into "Free Transfers" on FIFA10.

Once you have done all the transfers in and transfer out, we recommend that you save the squad using "My FIFA10---->FIFA10 Profile----->Save/Load/Delete----->Save------>Squads".

By doing this you can load your FIFA360 squad whenever you want to play league games.

At FIFA360 we are very strict with transfer dealings. We know that there is such a thing as 'mates rates'. However anyone who leads us to believe that they are abusing the transfer system may have a transfer embargo placed upon their club, or even be sacked!

Loans

Every team may have a maximum of 5 loans at any given time. These loans can be in any combination, from 5 players in on loan to 2 players in and 3 players out on loan.

There are be two options:

You are restricted on the maximum amount you can charge for a player when loaning him out.

Here is a list of the maximum price bands:

Half Season Loan

Full Season Loan

Please note that these prices are the MAXIMUM you can charge for your players. There is room for both managers to negotiate a price within the set price bands.

Free Transfers

If you have a player who you cant get rid of and he's taking up space in the squad or even costing you money, you can release him on a free transfer.

To do this, all you need to do is leave a post in the 'Release Players' thread of the Forum stating the player name, club hes leaving and his overall. This wIll the be confirmed by an Admin and he will be removed from your squad.

When signing a player on a free transfer, you do this in the same way however this time post in the 'Sign a Free Transfer' thread.

Free Transfers will work on first come first serve basis. As soon as Admin confirms he's free he will be added to the free transfers list, the first person to post in the topic will sign the player.

Auctions

Players are put up for auction on the site when they sign for a club that exsists in the FIFA360 world from a non FIFA360 team, but in real life.

Example:

During the FIFA360 Season 5, K.Benzema signed for Real Madrid in real life from Lyon. Real Madrid are a FIFA360 team and Lyon are not, so K.Benzema was then put up for auction to the highest bidder.

Site Compititions

Promotion/Relegation

In each of the leagues on FIFA360 we use a promotion and relegation system each season.

This works as follows:

Super Cup

The Super Cup consists of all 128 teams. Super Cup qualification is seeded based on the previous seasons league posistion.

There are 3 qualifing rounds.

The first qualifying round consists of all of the Championship, Serie B and Segunda team from the previous season (68 teams).

The second QR consits of the winners from first QR plus the 11th-20th placed teams from Serie A and La Liga and Premiership (64 teams).

The third QR is simply the 32 teams who qualified from the QR2 with 10th-7th placed teams in the Premiership, La Liga & Serie A (previous season).

The group stages therfore consist of the teams who came 1st-8th in the Premiership, La Liga & Serie A from the previous season and the 16 teams who qualified from the qualifying rounds (40 teams).

Group Stages consist of 8 Groups of 5 Teams. The group draw is seeded into 4 Pots A, B, C & D.

Seeding for the groups will again be determined on previous seasons finish.

You play each team in your Group once. The top 2 advance to the Final 16: The league tables are decided firstly by points, then goal difference, followed by goals scored, game against opponent and if that was a draw then alphabetical order.

The last 16 has two Pots, A and B.

Pot A (Group Winners) Pot B (Group Runner-Up). You can not meet the team that was in you group. Match Rules - see Cup Rules Above.

Then Quarter Finals (1 leg), Semi Finals (2 Legs) and Final (all unseeded).

The first round will be the 11 teams who came through the first round and the 5 best 3rd place teams from the Super group stages.
